Breaking, Schooling and Re-Training

AEC provides a range of horse training services, including breaking young horses, re-schooling, and tackling problem horses.

Our trainers have a great reputation and an extremely high success rate.  AEC also has a great reputation for dealing with problem horses, succeeding where others have failed giving your horse a much happier future.

Breaking

 

Using a range of techniques, your horse will be taken through stages, including long reigning and lunging before backing.  We will soon have your horse confident under saddle, walking, trotting, cantering, and hacking.  Your horse will also leave AEC happy being handled, tied up, transported, and held by a farrier/vet.

We generally allow 4-6 weeks for the breaking process but as every horse is different it may take a little longer.  We also encourage further schooling and tuition for you and horse to ensure ongoing success.

Re-Schooling & Problem Horses

 

Working closely with your horse to discover why it's 'playing up', we will cure the cause of problems, not the symptoms of bad behavior.  Turning un-trainable horses into compliant and happy animals, at ease with both their handlers and their environment.

Problem horses show a range of ‘symptoms’ from aggression to panic, knapping, rearing, bucking, bolting and backward thinking!  We will get to the route of the problem, whether its medical or psychological, and use the correct technique to re-train your horse.
